I have to say for classic rock era artist I'd pick the Carpenters over Heart. Volume isn't everything and there's no comparison vocally. Karen Carpenter was truly a treasure.

Everyone loves Heart as I see. They surely are the majority pic here, but definitely not mine.

I don't. I voted Garbage. Love her voice in that band.

^ Everyone here is mainly referring to the majority, ya see? They clearly got the most votes, so it's very likely that nearly everyone here atleast liked them in one way or the other. I like Garbage too, but I also like Heart. Also, don't be surprised if the members of Garbage also like and/or are influenced by Heart too. They didn't get my vote, but they damn sure are/were good & highly influential to other important musicians in all types of genres. That's just the way things go, ya know?
