Popular artist you can't stand

[Riff Raff]

Another band I really tried to like but just cannot stand is Coldplay.
I don't get the big hype around them but that's just me. Not for me that band.

Yea man, Coldplay and Mobi and that whole type of music bites the big one.

Its not really the type of music in general I hate, in fact I love the alternative rock scene, plenty of bands that sound not the same but similar I enjoy but for some reason Coldplay just doesn't click with me.

hahaha, well the guys are a-holes, I wasn't talking about that scene either, just coldplay and mobi in particular, they seem like bad people and their music is just awful. I try as hard as I can to avoid it and thankfully I haven't had to hear mobi since around 2000 but every once in a while a store or some corporate place plays coldplay and it makes me want to hurl.

How is Moby an a-hole! He seems like about a nice of a guy a you can get personally! He's definitely one of the most charitable artist I've seen! Maaaaybe you just really hate his music enough where he could be anyone and you'd still think he was an a-hole!

I suspect that as mentioned before you'd hate an electronic musician regardless of how it sounds! For me he makes some beautiful ambient score worthy music like this:

By can't stand I mean on a musical front for the record. I don't hate any artist as in the people. I think its pointless for anyone to spend time on 'hating' music.

Moby seems like a nice fellow actually, and how exactly are the guys from Coldplay a-holes?

Yeah, Chris Martin or Moby don't even seem like assholes to the point where they'd even cut you off in traffic or Hell in line!

I have no problems with opinions on artist music but the logic on this seems to be "If I don't like the sound of your music then you personally must be an asshole". I mean Jesus, I'm not spinning "It's A Wonderful Day In The Neighborhood" but I'm still sure that Mr. Rogers was a nice dude and not an asshole!

Dunno about anyone else but I genuinely do not like their music or vocals, so yeah I really do not like Coldplay. They're not for me.
