I never had a problem understanding Eddie's vocals, maybe that's just me.

If I had to choose betwen the two?? I'd go with Nirvana as Feels Like Teen Spirit and the Nevermind album have better memories for me.

There are a few songs by Pearl Jam that I don't mind, but sometimes I find Vedder's vocals off-putting. My introduction to Nirvana was when I first heard Smells Like Teen Spirit soon after it's release, and it absolutely blew me away! Voting for Nirvana

Pearl Jam. Ten is an Iconic album for me, way better than anything by Nirvana.

As far as actually bands go I think Pearl Jam is the better band. Better vocals, musicality, and more well written songs. HOWEVER, as a band I prefer Nirvana.
