Paul McCartney‘s latest album, ‘New,’ will mark its one-year anniversary next month with a special Collector’s Edition. The LP will be expanded to a two-CD and DVD set packaged in a hard-bound book.

When ‘New’ was released last year, fans and critics were quick to call it one of McCartney’s best albums in years. It reached the Top 10 in 17 countries. And since its release, he’s been busy promoting it with concerts and videos to keep the momentum going.

The special collector’s edition, which will be released on Oct. 28, will tack on a bonus disc, previously released only in Japan, featuring seven additional songs, including a handful of outtakes from the sessions and live versions of a few ‘New’ cuts.

The two-hour DVD features interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, music videos and McCartney’s various appearances on TV shows — like Jimmy Kimmel’s and Jimmy Fallon’s — to support the record.

McCartney will also release the next two albums in his ongoing reissue campaign a week later, on Nov. 4, with the Wings albums ‘Venus and Mars’ and ‘At the Speed of Sound.’ (They were originally scheduled to come out next week, but production problems delayed their release.) Those records will also include bonus material not found on their original issues in the ’70s.
