Paul Goddard,the bass player for the Atlanta Rhythm Section ,has died. I don't know any details,but They just posted it on the ARS Facebook page

He was a phenomenal talent when it came to playing the bass guitar, one of the most 'musical' and 'fluid' you will ever hear in a rock band.

Have to dig out my ARS albums and listen to him again. Ronnie Hammond the lead singer died years ago, the band still toured but for me they were never the same. Early ARS is one of the best and most unknown southern rock bands ever to take the stage or record an album.
