It was slow yesterday morning as well...almost like it was doing a maintenance cycle.

I know I get frustrated when it lags, so I can imagine everyone else does as well.

Could the number and size of pictures posted have anything to do with it?

No I don't think so Annie, most of those are links to photos hosted on other sites, that is what I do.

I am not a server expert but I think Shaggy can fine tune things a bit hopefully.

This is correct, most images besides the smilies on here are hosted off other websites.
