Ohio is a powerful song, it is a time capsule that represents a monumental moment in recent history. One song I think that will be remembered for a long long time.

^^^I think both songs could be included in that assessment LG. For What Its Worth captures the whole Vietnam anti-war movement IMO.

Ohio is a great tune but I LOVE For What Its Worth ....very tough, but I had to vote it!!

Living only about 40 miles from Kent State and spending a whole week on the tragedy in HS, Ohio gets so many thing WRONG about the whole incident that it's hard to take it seriously as a protest song. For What It's Worth is the much better tune here.

Ohio is also great. People forget that two more students were killed and another twelve wounded just ten days later at what is now called Jackson State University.

Very, very close call on these songs. For What It's Worth is the better of the two songs but only by a smidgen.
