Master of Puppets is overall a better album than TNotB and it gets my vote.
Powerslave beats them both though.

I change my vote to Puppets. It is just a vastly superior song and album in every way. Number is actually one of my least liked Maiden albums.

Here I must choose Master Of Puppets, although, in general, I love Maiden more, than Metallica.

I saw The Number the Beast along with Judas Priest - Sreaming for Vengeance, Priest were the headliner.

The concert hall I saw them in wasn't tall enough for Iron Maiden to bring out the huge, mechanical "Eddie", but it was a great show regardless. My vote is for Iron Maiden.
