They are similar but every band does that. In fact, some bands make whole careers out creating the same song over and over. Lots of bands also go back to old ideas pre-record deal and flesh it out into something better.

We were thinking more like the chords were identical and the lyrical progression of the songs, while distinctly different, were essentially derivatives of eachother.
Even though polly was recorded 2 years later. I feel Nirvana is one of those bands whose frontman changes the band, not just through lyrical direction but in every aspect of the bands natural progression. also i want the $50 for rent.
