not sure where I am going with the membership as I am very busy at several forums. However, I found this site on a search for Stryper, my recent craze which I posted about in the Stryper Thread here in the Metal Forum. Anyway, I like a number of bands/musicians including Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Stryper, Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Cash and Johnny Winter.
Johnny Winter was my high school guitar hero and I have always love his music. I listened to nothing but Johnny Winter (every album and bootleg I could get my hands on) for about 2 years straight, then one day switched over to classical music which led to opera. I probably spend most of my listening time with opera, so may do some posting in the classical music thread.
My brother played in a local metal band up in the Duluth (MN)-Superior (WI) area and was in a number of bands off and on over the past 30 or 40 years. Me, I can't do much of anything with a musical instrument beyond admiring it. Never learned to play anything.
Oh, my username is from my favorite opera, La Sonnambula.
