I can't find threads on Steven Wilson and his bands including Porcupine Tree, Blackfield, his solo projects, etc.

I have enjoyed reading many of your comments on other R&R music threads.

I see Magic already linked to the PT thread for you.
Feel free to start a Steven Wilson thread but posting here would be good also.
There are other threads that mention him in prog rock threads.


I've been a fan since his first lps with PT going back to On the Sunday of Life, Up the Downstair, and Sky Move Sideways. I also have all of Wilson's solo lps. I think their best are Stupid Dream. Lightbulb Sun, In Absentia, Deadwing and Fear of a Blank Planet.
My personal favorites are Stupid Dream and IN Absentia.
My favorite by Wilson are Raven... and Hand.Cannot .Erase.

He likes to keep changing his musical focus and the last couple of solo things miss the mark for me. I prefer his midperiod P Tree sound but anything he does is worth hearing imho.
