Perhaps this is due to the fact that Brian Johnson took a lot of his cues from Dan McCafferty's vocal style. Because before AC/DС, in Geordie, Brian sang a little differently. That's why some people get confused.

And of course Bon Scott had a gruffy voice and from what I heard Brian was a roadie and got the slot after Bon died..
Myself I just love Dan McCafferty's vocals.. Puts their songs on a whole nother level.

Your right Hydrazoic.. I looked up about Brian J. and he was in the group you mentioned. I guess I had heard way back on here that he was a roadie for AC/DC.. Got my leg pulled.
