Modern jazz reissues

Since rebuilding my vinyl collection, I have noticed that classic jazz vinyls seem to be reissued on Eastern European labels, I assume because of their age, and are available in the public domain, so you or I could do it if we desired.
They are certainly cheap enough, but are they any good? I'm assuming the source of the master is pretty questionable.

So many reissues are crap quality. A lot of companies have been using cds as a source and sometimes even worse. The Impulse! reissues sound stellar.

Sorry I cannot speak to Eastern European reissues. I have some European ones but can't recall, top-of-my-head, where they are from other than Spain and Germany.
