Minor Threat was a hardcore punk band that formed in Washington, D.C. in 1980. Despite the short time the band was together, they had a huge influence on the hardcore punk scene.

They are too heavy most of the time for my tastes, but I can take some of it.... what I can take is excellent
I can't think of many off the top of my mind, but songs like "Good Guys Don't Wear White" are great, it's a little bit easier on the ears, but still has the power
