I had this track earlier in my list, though the link for it was sadly taken down, I guess if the same thing occurs here I better respect this artists wishes (all their links seem to be broken).

The link took me to a live stream...it works.

Cool!

Some of the sbs chill ambient is moody enough to qualify as 'dark' but I tend to like the gloomy haunting things better (sometimes)....listening to the live stream now...it shows as being 2-3 hours long from Australia.

Ah yes, SBS Chill comprises of different segments, think of it like a Radio Station with a particular DJ scheduled on during a certain part of the day. SBS Chill doesn't have any actual DJ and is more of a playlist, though they'll announce when the new segment commences (e.g. Mindfulness Chill, Gentle Rise, Breakfast Chill, Morning Chill, Afternoon Chill), or if a particular track is a homegrown hit, very seldom it occurs though which gives the listener virtually non-stop music through the TV Set-top box, Online ar DaB. The latest access they have is through their Streaming Platform SBS On-Demand which, comes with Relaxing Scenic views to enjoy!

BTW...You tube has several ambient lists playing of regular and dark artists.

I went through the Top-50 videos of Dark Ambient, though I'm not familiar with any of those artists sadly.
Some of the artists tunes I've posted in this thread, aren't always necessarily Relaxing Ambient tunes either with some of them having Electronic mixes as well such as Joey Fehrenbach, Dextro and Jens Buchert.

To me its all ambient and the styles often blend for me depending on the artist. I just prefer the spookier ambient but I like the calmer stuff as well. :good

One of the albums I purchased as all 7 tracks have been played at one point or another is Lionsbrae by Fausten. I purchased the album online from Bandcamp I think for a reasonable price ($5 US), there's Dark and Spooky elements in there which you'll probably like, though after purchasing the album I felt it was very worthwhile since the tracks crossfade from one track to the next. Initially I felt this was a bit of a problem for mp3 files, though it seems to work fine from my Music player. I guess if I transfer it to CD, it'll also work out.
