Some new ones from last weeks session and this morning, the 1st one has been called Kirrikee (Radio), though I'm only able to find Kirrikee online, I'm also thinking the track played during Mindfulness Chill is a Radio version cause it seems noticeably shorter than the one I'm posting, regardless I'm still posting it since it seems appropriate for this Thread.

Robert Ashley-'Flying Saucer Dialogue' (1985)
Posted this because I'm a big fan of the ufo phenomenon...more experimental than ambient but strange as it gets.

Wanted to insert this link to dark ambient.
I've always liked minor keys and melancholy or haunting tunes so I'm drawn to that.

Yeah, I'm unsure the music I post here goes into the Realms of Dark Ambient, the music I post here comes from SBS Chill's Mindfulness Chill, which is an hour music segment played on Wednesdays at 6am and replayed 9pm Australian Eastern Daylight Saving Time. This is a link to that Station:

Though I'm unsure if it can be viewed from Overseas!

btw...really long list...but there is a top 50 one on you tube.

Yes. so since the middle of 2024 I've been gathering videos. I've been listening to the segment for a few years and during the segment lots of tracks were being played over and over, so I've been building a list of those songs. I've accumulated so many, their programme has something stored in here, though I don't have everything they played, since some of their tracks aren't available through videos, or hide in obscure places online. So unfortunately there's no top 50 list of these tracks. SBS Chill do a Top 100 Countdown New Years Day and occasionally a Tune from Mindfulness Chill gets into it, though it's just one part of what SBS Chill do, so other Subtle tracks go into the Mix.

The Top 100 countdown is still something I need to get onto from this years countdown though, which I setup another thread in.

The link took me to a live stream...it works.
Some of the sbs chill ambient is moody enough to qualify as 'dark' but I tend to like the gloomy haunting things better (sometimes)....listening to the live stream now...it shows as being 2-3 hours long from Australia.
BTW...You tube has several ambient lists playing of regular and dark artists.

To me its all ambient and the styles often blend for me depending on the artist. I just prefer the spookier ambient but I like the calmer stuff as well. :good
