Maurice White of EW&F Has Passed Away

Founder and vocalist for Earth, Wind & Fire, Maurice White, has died at age 74. He had Parkinson's disease for a long time, and passed away peacefully in his sleep last night, Feb 3rd.

Another Shining Star is gone!

Personally, I enjoyed their music a lot! RIP Maurice. Your star will shine on in your music, and wonderful memories for your family, friends and fans.

EWF is one of my absolute favorite non-rock bands of all time and Maurice founded one of the all time great bands and one of the great writers.
