Yeah this is pretty much my favorite genre of music. I'm into them Giraffes? Giraffes!, This Town Needs Guns, Hella, Tera Melos, and such. But I'm also into the heavier stuff too if you've heard of them like The Fall of Troy, Fear Before, and Protest the Hero. I think it's actually classified as mathcore when it gets that heavy, but whatever it still seems like it'd be categorized as math rock because of the crazy time signatures and angular melodies. Beautifully complex.

Yeah, when it gets into the heavier stuff, it's generally classified as Mathcore. I've listened to my fair share of The Fall of Troy. Can't say they ever really..."sparked" much for me. Protest The Hero however is one I love.
