Are we talking actual chart hits or songs that got overplayed on F.M. radio? If it's the latter, my list would include:

Candy-O - The Cars
Who's Next - The Who
Let It Bleed - The Rolling Stones
Goodbye Yellow Brick Road - Elton John
Aja - Steely Dan
L.A. Woman - The Doors
Dark Side Of The Moon - Pink Floyd
Every Picture Tells A Story - Rod Stewart
Pretty much any Beatles album

For a live LP I would have to say Frampton Comes Alive, I think I've heard every song off that LP 1k times on classic radio

I've heard every cut from both of these albums on the radio. Not all of them were 'hits', but for people like us that love music, they're all familiar.

You know, going back through this thread, I saw something, so I did a little wiki work, and guess what?

1977
Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
Foreigner - debut
Lynyrd Skynryd - Street Survivors
Ted Nugent - Cat Scratch Fever
Styx - The Grand Illusion
Foghat - Live
Billy Joel - The Stranger
Meat Loaf - Bat Out Of Hell
Aerosmith - Draw The Line
Queen - News Of The World

That's a pretty fertile year in rock music.
