Rockin' Robin Roberts & The Wailers - "Louie Louie" (1961)

In 1960, Rockin' Robin Roberts happened upon a copy of a 45 by Richard Berry in a record-shop bargain bin. He played the flip-side, a song called "Louie Louie", and liked it enough to add it to the band's live act -- blunting the Latin/calypso-influence and turning it into an all-out rock 'n' roll song for the first time.

Here's Johnny Thunders Performing it although he kind of mixes in Hang on Sloopy(a little Too much,I think he was kind of fried out by then).
This was filmed shortly before he was found dead either by murder or OD whatever you believe(I tend to go with murder)

I have a live Iggy Pop recording where he does the same thing mixing in Hang On Sloopy. Cant remember what the title was but it was almost exactly the way Thunders did.

One things for sure it was the profanity laced version of Iggy's Louie atleast from the 70's. you know the crude version
