I saw Rose Tattoo play live in London when they were supporting RAINBOW back in 1981 on Rainbow's Difficult to cure tour.

The band came out on stage at the Finsbury Park Astoria (better known as the Rainbow back in the 1970s & 1980s) and played a few numbers then in between one song Angry Anderson shouted into his mic to the mass or Rainbow and Ritchie Blackmore fans-

"It's our job to warm you f**kers up!!."

They had a few albums out during the early 1980s in the UK and from vague memory they played a 'dirty KIND OF rock & roll' but I caught up with them in the 1990s I think it was and they were then a kind of 'biker metal band' with Angry Anderson fronting a band of long haired greasy bikers which were actually pretty good musically (if you like biker metal?) although all the band members themselves weren't the pretties bunch of dudes i'd ever seen ha ha ha...
