Hello rock fans. My friends and I have a little wager, it requires a little obscure trivia. In the song "A Question of When" you can hear the quote
"The mind of man rests on a delicate balance between reality, the world of light, and the other darker world below the threshold of consciousness... and it is from this world of darkness which comes the evil destructive forces in man's nature."
Now I think it's an old philosopher's quote. My buddy thinks they made it up? Anybody know (Proof would help to.)

The only thing I know about that quote is it has been "sampled" several times in songs and games. The original sample is clearly heard in this:
My best guess would be that it was from an early sci-fi film. Quite possibly the quote is taken from Freud or even a greek philosopher from BC. Since the quote has been sampled so many times, I am assuming it is public domain, which means it is a very OLD quote without any copyrights.
I know google is no help. By listening to the above sample, it sorta sounds like an early Vincent Price......

In my opinion, LC was one of the MOST OVERRATED bands of rock.......the "perfect black sound / rock crossover" band MY ASS.........where do we put the forefathers of black ROCK then??!!!

I remember my friend 'BUD' lived right by our highschool. In the spring of 88 we would always hang out and play guitars , harass the girls walkin by , ect...the TV would always be on full blast on MTV...whenever we heard a good video was on, we would rush back in to watch it. They played Cult of Personality ALL the TIME ! Never got tired of it. That frantic solo was just off the HOOK !
They were great. Not a lasting band though.
Miss those days.
