Live to Rise by Soundgarden, from The Avengers (sadly without Mrs Peel), is available as a free download from iTunes. It has most of the hallmarks, but is commercial. I want to hear Chris Cornell cut loose!

Heard it on youtube and thought it was not bad but not awesome. Maybe it was just the video quality. Sounded a bit commercial, not quite as bad as a lot of stuff that went commercial though.

They have got to be better than Audioslave, which I did not like - due to the guitar style. I'd like to see Temple of the Dog reformed too.

I loved Audioslave but I too would rather the new Soundgarden album sound as such....like Soundgardens older material. lol

I like it! I see why this song is the way it is, I mean c'mon it's on a Soundtrack of a big summer film jeje

I heard it on the way home yesterday and it really did nothing for me, but I agree with Tab that it being a soundtrack song sort of gives them a free pass for it to not be a big masterpiece or anything.

I don't think I'll be downloading it either, even though it's free.
