I'm from Missouri, so they get an honorable mention.

Some are not lesser known but certainly not mentioned or heard on the radio very often these days:

Cry of Love. Really good 70’s sounding rock band from the early 90’s.

David Baerwald. He was David from the group David & David in the late 80’s. Check out his album titled Triage sometime. Really great stuff.

Some of you have seen me tout the album Fantastic Planet from Failure. An excellent rock album that veers towards progressive rock really. Magnified is also a good album from Failure.

Jen Trynin’s Gun Shy, Trigger Happy is a good album as well. She has a nice voice and features some nice guitar work as well.

K’s Choice. To be honest I only have their second and third albums but I love them both. They had some hits but no one talks about their entire albums any more. Get in deeper past “Not An Addict” and “Believe” and you will still find a lot of music to also enjoy.
