Yours is one of the FEW comments I've across where their live act is recognized more than their studio work. USUALLY it's the opposite.

I sort of backed away from them quite a bit in the late 70s and early 80s mainly because in my neighborhood they were so overplayed I was kind of burned out on them. A girl gave me Zep 3 in the mid 70s because she didn't like it. Having never owned that album before I was quickly blown away by it and they've been part of my collection ever since. It took that and Physical Grafitti to really get me back into them.I liked these guys alot in my teens, then for some reason I got away from them, and didn't hear them that much.
The first Christmas my wife and I had together, I bought her the box set with every album up to Coda, with the exception of The Song Remains the Same.
Wow, what I great time I had rediscovering those guys!!!
