I love the top comment.
'My neighbors called the cops for me playing Led Zeppelin too loud.
The cops came and arrested my neighbors.'

Yea those type of comments make me laugh. See them all the time.
Been listening to their live album how the west was won.
Like that more than their studio albums because it shows you how powerful they really were, something the studio IMO never did.

^^^ I turn down Whole Lotta Love during his musical orgasm in the middle. I feel a bit ashamed at times, like I'm dirty for listening to it or something. :heheh:

Yours is one of the FEW comments I've across where their live act is recognized more than their studio work. USUALLY it's the opposite.

:cheers2

I liked these guys alot in my teens, then for some reason I got away from them, and didn't hear them that much.

The first Christmas my wife and I had together, I bought her the box set with every album up to Coda, with the exception of The Song Remains the Same.

Wow, what I great time I had rediscovering those guys!!!

I sort of backed away from them quite a bit in the late 70s and early 80s mainly because in my neighborhood they were so overplayed I was kind of burned out on them. A girl gave me Zep 3 in the mid 70s because she didn't like it. Having never owned that album before I was quickly blown away by it and they've been part of my collection ever since. It took that and Physical Grafitti to really get me back into them.

I just heard Kashmir in a commercial for John Carter! Was not expecting that. It was probably a cover, I was sort of caught off guard at the last minute so I couldn't tell.

^^^ And I was listening to Kashmir "Dubstep mixes" earlier. I swear, I had thought I'd heard it all, but dubstep Led Zeppelin? I threw up in my mouth a little. :uh:
