I don't care much for The Byrds but this is their best tune ( just about the only one I'd make any real effort to listen to) and I'll take it over Four Sticks ( which I also like a great deal).

Its funny I guess Ive never seen anybody from Zeppelin hanging out or to be swarmed around by the haight ashbury crowd. Besides the european hippies is completely different from the american hippies. Im really glad I wasnt old enough to be suckered in by this group..

yeah. yeah. yeah... change society.. to get rid of the gestapo establishment to do whatever... only to be completely sold out in the 70s and take a very dangerous path and not really realizing whats to come 40 years from the 1960s.. Back then they had something called police officers and patrolmen just to name a few..

Today we have a "Cop", everyday its a "Cop" in the news... and in the end it would even make Jack Webb himself spin in his grave, he had a very true point to how an officer should conduct him or herself...

BUT..... remember this, the "Cops" of today are the products of sold out hippies of the 1960s.

but enough of the editorial...........now back to the music.
