I just picked up King's X latest album Ogre Tones today, and I'm happy to report that it's their best album in years. If you loved their classic sound from the earlier albums (anything from Out of the Silent Planet through Ear Candy), go and grab this new one without hesitation or fear of disappointment. It's fabulously classic King's X.

Peace,
The Rev

Re: Ogre Tones by King's X

Thanks for the recommendation, Rev. I'm looking for something to get excited about. Recent new releases - for this month any way - have left me feeling blah.

Re: Ogre Tones by King's X

One of the band members describes the album in a recent interview as being a kind of cross between Gretchen Goes To Nebraska and Dogman. That's about as good a description as one could come up with. Anyway, it's excellent.

Peace,

Tis is a great album. Got it a little while ago. Been enjoying it ever since. Here's a live version of Hurricane from the album. I'm giving some a bump today
