I've never heard this song by rainbow (nor any other song by this group.) It seems like he's singing about a man who was called to the circle as a sacrifice to the king. Once it is aware that he is truely commited enough to sacrifice his life for the king, the king pardons him of his death. IMO. I've always felt that killer queen was one of queens more solid tunes but i am going to have to go with Rainbow on this battle. What a great song!?!? This is why i love music. There is always more out there that i haven't heard! Thanks so much for the post!
