Kick Axe is a heavy metal band from Canada, a highly underrated band. They were active in the 80's and have reformed and have begun tourning again. They released 3 albums in the 80's and another album in 2004. They are Sleaze rock at it's finest.

They have had several band member changes, especially during the time when they were active in the 80's. Today, however, they have reformed with the first band members, the members of the original Kick Axe before they released their first album.

They have tight vocal harmonies, great guitar work, and a fantastic rhythm section.

if anyone out there has seen The Transformers: The Movie from 1986...they appeared on the OST as a band called "Spectre General".

I had that soundtrack form the old Transformers movie, but I deleted it I think...I've heard of Kick Axe before, but never followed them.

I like their stuff from the 80's, but Kick Axe IV has a better production, I may do an album review on this one.....it is a really awesome album

Kick Axe will be touring 2011 with Judas Priests' Defenders of the Faith tour and the Scorpions Love At First Sting tour, both summer tours. Then this fall they will be touring with Whitesnake and Quiet Riot.
