The human riff has let this one out the bag.. and the sentiment of the song rings true. Motown drumming is superb.. ( Steve Jordan?) Got a feeling this was issued only on the Japanese pressing of Main Offender.

"Keith Richards has released a video for his 1992 classic Hate It When You Leave. The track, which originally appeared on the Rolling Stones guitarist's Main Offender album, is being re-released for this year's "third drop" Record Store Day, which takes place this Saturday

Hate It When You Leave will be available as a limited edition of 4000 red vinyl 7” single, and features Key To The Highway on the b-side, a song previously only available on the Japanese version of the Main Offender album."

I'll see if I can find a copy locally or maybe get a copy from my German dealer.

Talking of Keith Richards I recently managed to find and buy a cd copy of his Xpensive Wino's live recording from L.A. back in 1992. Apart from performing newer material from his Xpensive Wino's band from memory he throws in the Stones song Connection & Happy off Exile On Main Street. A dvd of this live concert was also released at the same time as the cd containing the same songs as the cd.

About 8 or 9 years ago two New Barbarian's cds featuring Keith & Ronnie Wood and several others appeared in the cd rakes which have subsequently disappeared not surprisingly.
