Re: Judas Priest

Heard the original for the first time and loved it. But heard the Priest version and I can't stop listening to it!

Both studio and live version from 1985 are killer.

^^^ hell yeah man. The Fleetwood Mac version is cool, but Priest took that song, kicked in the ass and tore it up! They totally made that song their own.

Re: Judas Priest

I don't think I'd be able to pick my favourite out of Fleetwood Mac's original and Priest's cover - love them both. Fleetwood Mac's is so atmospheric and haunting, which is lost, imo, on Priest's cover, but I love the power and energy JP give the song. It all depends on what mood I'm in as to which version hits the spot at the time:)

Currently cranking up Saints in Hell (great tune!)

Here's a Fate's Warning cover of the same tune

Personally, I think they did a hell of a job both with the music and the vocals.

Gonna get the remastered Vengeance, the copy I have now is way too friggin quiet, hate having to raise the volume heaps just for it to be hearable.
