Saddened to hear of yesterday's death of New York bluesman John Hammond at the age of 83..

Heard of him back at college but only knew this one though he did many lps alone and worked with many blues greats over the years.
Lead vocals, harmonica, guitar on 'Triumvirate' with Bloomfield and DR JOhn in 1973.

its quite clear to hear that he had a big influence on George Thorogood...you only have to listen.
