Well...there goes another one. R.I.P. Joe Cocker. Unique voice, unique talent. McCartney's quip summed him up.

In my opinion, that's how it should be. If they can hide an illness, by all means, I hope they do it and enjoy and appreciate their privacy.

Wouldn't be so bad if the media wasn't a bunch of ****ing pigs that want to get every imaginable shot of some celebrity during their time of illness and decline so they can publish those photos, making money off of other people's misery and suffering.

Some celebs come out and continue to work through such times (ala: Michael J Fox), others keep to themselves and the next thing you know, they are gone. I salute MJF for his efforts, but I very much appreciate the ones that don't let us watch them whittle away
