The extra tracks on This Was make the reissue (several years ago) more than worth the money even if you already own it.

Well It´s a bit too laidback for my taste, I lost interest after half the cd. The playing is as good as ever, but it sounds somewhat forced.

^^I have no idea Martin I don't own any of his solo albums...even though I love his guitar playing.

His best is the Stage Left album.

Thanks KH, it might be worth a listen. I know Martin Barre plays on John Wetton's first solo album, but I have never heard a good word about the record. I almost bought it at the time, but the timing was bad - between UK and Asia, when Wetton wanted to move away from instrument-based epics to short 'songs'.

It is funny how Ian Anderson and Martin Barre seem to have fallen out after so many years, don't you think?
