I like the first four Jefferson Starship albums with Grace Slick. She's one of my favourite singers and I enjoy anything she sings on, but not even the best of Starship comes close to Jefferson Airplane imo.

:bow:Surrealistic Pillow,:bow: After Bathing at Baxters and :bow: Volunteers rocked. The other albums are okay, but definitely not in the same league

The Jefferson Airplane was by far the best of it all, but there were a few songs I enjoyed that were released by the Jefferson Starship like Miracles, Find Your Way Back, Count On Me, and Ride The Tiger.

The Jefferson Airplane were never my favorite, but they were OK. I guess I was just too square listening to Simon & Garfunkel or The Association instead. My favorite song by them though is Today.

The Jefferson Airplane is my favorite band mostly because they played music that said something for the time and they didn't give a shit if it offended anyone. The writing of Kantner and Slick was out of this world even on the projects they did with each other. Each band member gave this band something special.
