I love Beth Hart. I just got her new album Bang Bang Boom Boom. I really discovered her from her album with Joe Bonanmassa Don't Explain. But I've since gotten all her solo works recently

I've always preferred "Kozmic Blues" over "Pearl" personally. I think I'm in the minority on that one (as well as being a Janis Joplin fan in general it would seem) but I think the backing band is more solid and the album feels more whole. I understand that "Pearl" wasn't finished when Janis died but even the stuff was was finished doesn't feel entirely cohesive as a full album to me.
