PFM definitely my favourite of Rock Progressivo Italiano.
I have all of their stuff on mp3 but am trying to collect on vinyl again - so expensive!

I had tickets to see them only a few years ago - they planned only two gigs, in London and, close to where I am, in Rotherham.
Guess which gig the buggers cancelled?

I also love Banco, Le Orme and Osanna.

Shame, they are a sight for the ears live!
Cook reminds me of O'level late nite listening /study.

My introduction to Banco was through the release of their music with English lyrics.
This album is a 'Best of...' sung in English.
It's brilliant, although I would always prefer to listen to the original Italian of every one of the aforementioned bands.

And...
Has anybody come across The Watch?
Bit of a con really, as they are really an Italian Genesis tribute act which also play their own music, usually in English.
They sound uncannily like Gabriel-era Genesis and one of their albums - 'Timeless' - actually takes themes from the 'Revelation' album and twists them around or simply re-presents them.
Their original material just sounds like lost early Genesis songs!

Very interesting.

Another fabulous band, rare as rocking horse s.hit in these parts. Began in mid 1966 and went on to prog credibility.
