'Inside Abbey Road' Online Facility Launched

Abbey Road has linked up with Google to enable everybody to take a look round the famous studio where The Beatles and Pink Floyd, among many others, made some of their finest recordings.

If you click on the image of The Beatles on the zebra crossing, and then on the 'Step Inside' icon towards the end of that clip, it takes you through.

An informational tidbit is that the studio was named EMI Studios at the time the Beatles recorded. The name was changed to Abbey Road in 1970. The Beatles album is named after the street, not the studio.
