Feeling Good - Michael Bublé
I'm sure Michael was influenced by all the aforementioned artists. I just happened to be flipping through the channels one day, and saw Hit Man: David Foster and Friends. I thought it was the first time I saw Michael Bublé. I had actually seen him a toe-curling movie called Duets. He had one singing part, and I'm glad to say it did not affect his career adversely. :heheh:

Besides rock/prog rock I have been a fan of jazz and fusion for many years. Did not see an official jazz thread so this is as good as any. All the greats have beeen mentioned but these are a few of my favorites.
John Coltrane
Miles Davis
Mcoy TYner
Pat Metheny
Chick Corea/ Return To Forever
Weather Report
Jaco Pastorius
Mahavishnu Orchestra/ John Mclaughlin
Keith Jarret
Gary Burton
Thelonius Monk
etc.....

Picked this up a few days ago on original vinyl....

I am definitely out of my genre-ic wheel house. But what did get us Rockers attention back in the day, was the mid 70's work of Return to Forever with Correa, Clarke, and Di Meoloa.
