Re: The Ian Hunter Thread

This is such a sweet song....<3

It's from Ian's most recent album "Man Overboard", which I double stamp with my approval. :grinthumb

It was really great to see Ian step out from behind his keys to command the crowd. I really laughed during that part where he was talking about sports teams. :heheh:

:heheh: Yeah I have that on DVD Harmony and the coolest thing about it is that he goes into CHICAGO ROCKS...right after. Audience goes nuts.

He had a version that they used to play on The Loop out here back when I was like 14 and all that. A live version of Cleveland Rocks where the recording was Chicago. Too cool!

:cheers2

Yeah, you've told me about that version before. I know Ian has been a member of the All Starr band either once or twice. Who else was in the lineup that year?

I recognized Sheila E in the video but I don't know those other guys other than Greg Lake, at least not by name.

Ian released a new album earlier this month called "When I'm President". Here is the title track...

I really like it AND I just found out this morning that Ian is coming to the Beachland Ballroom tomorrow. I'm hoping it's not too later for me to get tickets since I've been wanting to see Ian for years and the Beachland is probably my favorite venue in Cleveland. It's not TOO small but still small enough that it has an intimate setting. Plus at the ripe age of 73, even though Ian still seems to be going strong, I'm not positive how many more times he'll be coming to Cleveland.
