Re: Ian Gillan Band and Gillan

"Future Shock" (1981) is a cracking album, still plenty around. LP Tracks are...

Future Shock
Night Ride Out Of Phoenix
(The Ballad Of) The Lucitania Express
No Laughing In Heaven
Sacre Bleu
New Orleans

Bite The Bullet
If I Sing Softly
Don't Want The Truth
For Your Dreams

Ian Gillan is a brilliant songwriter, he has a great way with words with a twist of tongue-in-cheek humour, his solo songs and with Purple are a joy to listen to. Most of his solo and Gillan albums have been remastered and reissued on CD.

I have been searching for "Magic".....some of this stuff is pretty hard to find :uh:

I picked the vinyl up pretty close to the years that they were released, and the CD were bought years ago too. The only one I bought somewhat recently is Gillan's Inn and I picked it up at Deep Purple's merch table at a gig about two years ago .

Give Ebay a look. I find rare stuff there all the time .

I will do that, if I can't find it with my other sources :)

I love this sweet jazzy song! The Live Version is totally awesome.

My favourite song from Future Shock and main reason why I bought this album.
