Dropping dead during the grand finale of a celebration for your 70th birthday as all of the the stars gather for the final number like during the Last Waltz might be a good way to go out.

Of course the fact that nobody knows you have dropped dead and keeps playing as you lay there on stage is a bummer.

The last way I'd like to go out is dropping dead at work.
Right in my stupid cubicle.
That would just be such a horrible statement about the average guy's life these days.
Just work some place till they haul you out and plug somebody else in.
We had a dude drop last month.
Face down in the lunch room from a coronary.
Hauled him out and got the email the next day.
The grim reaper called. Just horrible.
Some other sap took his desk and began the slow draining of his soul.
