^^^ I can't hear that Manhattan Transfer song without thinking of the joke doing the rounds decades ago (seem to think it was a Kenny Everett joke) about the snail crossing the lawn singing, "Chanson D'Amour"...and the lawnmower goes over it with a "Rat-a-tat-a-tat" :heheh:

My buddy used to have 'Live In London' on album and we played it to death. This was my favorite and I havent heard it a long, long time. Its got to be off of the Live album though as the studio version drags.

I caught this on the radio earlier today and I honestly haven't heard it in years. It was a nice reminder of my younger years...

At the risk of being unpopular here, I heard this song yesterday

I guess for people who don't know Don Lane was an American who came to Australia and was a popular personality on TV with The Don Lane Show, this song for him was a bit of a hit though, I guess what works with it is it kind of sounds like Sinatra - I don't know if Sinatra performed it himself though.

I thought it was good to hear it again though. :D

Believe it or not, I heard the full version of Green Grass & High Tides on the radio yesterday. I was totally shocked!!

Maybe the DJ had to take an extended bathroom break or sumfin :heheh:

Cool song that was played on the radio back in '79 or '80.
