A couple of months ago I heard The Beach Boys trippy hippy "Heroes and Villains" which I was still enjoying after not hearing it for so many years.

Australia's Russell Morris did a couple of Psychedelic songs in the Late 60s, "The Real Thing" became a big hit here and the song was simply done in one take however originally it was never meant to be a Psychedelic song or so I heard/read somewhere, however the song was recorded as an experiment just to see where the song would go and because they were pleased with the end result, decided to release it.

A lesser known follow up song to "The Real Thing" was also followed up with "Part 3 into Paper Walls" which could probably go in here as well. :D
