^NWA is/was awesome! I always remember listening to them, they weren't exactly what I would consider underground. There were congressional hearings about them, they were everywhere. I always associate their lyrics with the riots that happened when it came out. Too bad Easy E had to die, I feel like he would have kept making awesome music if he was still alive.
