I located this forum while researching a John Payne question my wife and I had. I got involved in reading the thread and thought I would join.
Classic Rock defines my musical tastes since I grew up on it as it was first released. The excitement when new albums were released by Pat Benatar (In the Heat of the Night) , Van Halen (first album), ZZ Top (Tejas), Aerosmith (Toys in the Attic), and Led Zeppelin (IV or whatever you prefer to call the no-name album) just to name a few. My musical tastes run more towards the harder rocking classic rock - typcially towards bands that are heavily guitar based. I try to go to at least a couple of concerts a year depending on who's playing, something I started in high school in the 70's. Last night it was the Scorpions in San Diego, and next month it is Journey.
Anyway, I look forward to reading and participating in discussions about Classic Rock bands and learning more about this forum.
