Hatfield and the North - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Albums:

Hatfield and the North (1974)

The Rotters' Club (1975)

Afters (1980)

Live 1990 (1993)

Hatwise Choice: Archive Recordings 1973-1975 Volume 1 (2005)

Hattitude: Archive Recordings 1973-1975 Volume 2 (2006)

This band featured a few different musicians from the likes of Caravan and Matching Mole and later featured Dave Stewart (not him from Eurythmics, him from Egg), This is great mood music and you can really relate to this, some great bass lines and keyboard.

Damn Sweaty another band I don't know, I have two EGG albums, one is excellent the other one not quite as enjoyable, and I have 5 Caravan albums so I guess I'll have to put this band on the list as well.

You are forcing me into the same boat as Sox, thinking about a bank heist to pay for all this stuff.:heheh:

Well there are so many bands out there and you have to listen to them, I don't buy too many at the moment as it is expensive, I wait for them to go down in price and then buy two or three at a time makes it more interesting like waiting for Christmas.

Big fan of Hatfield and the North. Phil miller very underrated guitarist, Pip Pyle from Gong and Richard Sinclair from Caravan. They had a few singers too mostly Barbara Gaskin and Amanda Parsons. Dave Stewart has lots of great stuff Egg, National Health plus Khan and Arzachel with Steve Hillage.

Big Dave Stewart fan! Love Rotter's Club. Brilliant album from start to finish. If you like this, try one of Stewart's other 70s bands, National Health. The first two albums feature fantastic compositions and inspired performances. I also dig Egg's Polite Force album.
