Gus Dudgeon Died Nine Years ago On This Day.

On this day nine years ago, legendary producer Gus Dudgeon was killed along with his wife after falling asleep at the wheel of his car. Dudgeon worked with many artists but was most notable for producing most of Elton John's classic 1970's albums.

I'd forgotten about that accident and Gus's tragic death. His work with Elton was Fabulous, those albums are among the finest "sounding" of the 70's, which does nothing but help artists/bands sell albums in my view.

RIP Gus and his wife as well.
