I have the album, I was thinking of taking a photo of it. :D
I used to attend a folk club meet some years ago, great fun,
they liked a drink or two.

^^Please do, I don't collect vinyl anymore but still love the covers and fancy sleeves they used to come with.

Hmmm... I had a go, but it was made of fail. The writing is so tiny, even when I
altered the size, it was very hard to read, and that was the idea of it. :(

I may be wrong, but I heard that the drummer went on to be an editor of 'Kerrang' rock mag. :guitar:

^^That is far from a fail Iggy, it shows enough detail for me to recognize the era the album came from, so many of them had those artistic sleeves and love the caricatures of the band members too.

Thanks for this Iggy, before you wrote this thread I had exactly...0 Gryphon albums, and now I have what are considered their best 3 in the library.:hab:

I don't like to be beaten, so, this is the only way I can show members the story of the songs. Note the lovely 'raised' texture of the album.
Shall I continue, or do you think I have gone a bit ott? :D

^^You should see all the cool stuff Jeffrey has posted in the Jethro Tull thread Iggy,,,post as many Gryphon pictures as you like.

Yeah I miss my old vinyl albums for their artwork and the nice touches like the texture on that one...but I don't miss the worn out pops clicks and other glitches.;)

I love the little stories of the songs, but 'The unquiet grave' is so sad. :(
