In My Life by the Beatles contains an excellent piano solo, courtesy of George Martin, that compliments the song in a brilliant manner. It sounds like a harpsicord because it was recorded at half speed then played at double speed. Ahh, those genius recording engineers from days gone by, putting in a days work... :heheh: :bow:


I like George Martin's piano work on "Lovely Rita". Paul plays the piano on the song but George plays the piano solo. I also like the piano break on "Something In the Air" by Thunderclap Newman. And about "Ruby Tuesday". According to credits on the "40 Licks" best-of, it's Brian Jones playing the piano on the track, in addition to the recorder.
